Library

The Village of Pellston Library is a branch of the Mackinaw Area Public Library. Funding for the Library comes from the Village of Pellton, The DDA, State of Michigan Penal Fines, and the Mackinaw Area Public Library.

The Library is located in the Village Hall building on Milton Street, one block west of US 31, between Main Street and Mill Street. The Library is open Monday and Tuesdays from 11am to 4pm and on Thursdays from 2 to 7pm.

The Friends of the Pellston Library is a group of volunteers whose purpose is to help The Pellston Library by supporting and raising funds to sponsor events, programs, speakers and projects specifically for the Pellston community. The Friends of the Pellston operate as a legal entity and are licensed by the State of Michigan. Call the Library for more information or to have your name added to our lst of volunteers.

Library cards are free to residents of the Village of Pellston. For residents outside the Village limits, cards may be purchased for $30.  Cards are availble from the Librarian. No prior notice of is necessary.  Cards are availble to those older than 14. Children 14 and younger may get a card in their own name with a parent or guardian's signature.
